<p>Calorie shifting occurs when you change the amounts of calories significantly day after day. Your body will not know you are eating less calories and will continue to burn them at its normal rate. Add some additional exercise and your body will become a fat burning machine.</p>
<p>The Every Other Day Diet plan gives you several different plans to lose weight at different rates, but also gives you an exact eating plan so that you will be forced to succeed if you follow it. This eating plan is called SNAPP.</p>
<p>Of course there is the added benefit of being able to eat whatever you want at certain times as well. You are not limited at all of what you can eat. Just as long as you eat at the exact times the diet calls for. This is what helps people "cheat their way thin". <p>In April of 2008 I was in a car accident that left me with a severe back injury. I was on the EODD Diet at the time and having great results. I really did not want to lose all of the progress I had made thus far.</p>
<p>Because of the injury I knew I would have to stop doing the exercise routines that I had been doing for the past year. I told my doctor about my worries and decided to take his advice and go to physical therapy.</p>
<p>My physical therapist was awesome and helped me form a plan that would allow me to continue exercising as long as it was done with care and on the plan he and I designed.</p>
<p>The plan involved a lot of walking and uper body exercises done in my chair. Combined with my twice weekly therapy he told me I should continue my weight loss close to the pace I was on before the accident.</p>
<p>I canceled my gym membership and bought some dumbbells.</p>
<p>Within 6 months I had healed enough to go back to the gym and started back on my regular routines. The therapist thinks the exercise during my rehab combined with the continued weight loss really helped to speed the healing.</p>
<p>The point of this post is to let my readers facing this kind of problem is to not give up! Find a way to make it work for you.</p>

<p>Carry a notebook around with you at all times. When you come across a major craving write it down in the notebook. You can then be sure to eat it on your feed day tomorrow. This will give you the power to beat back the craving and satisfy it at the same time.</p>
<p>Make two grocery lists. This is important so that you will have all the foods you need during burn days and all of the food for your family and feed days. By making two lists you will be sure to get the exact things you need for burn days and make your life easier.</p>
<p><strong>2. Water and lot's of it!.</strong> Drinking water has become the foundation of most diets. This is not by accident because it really can help you in several ways.</p>
<p>First and foremost it will help your body burn fat and keep your metabolism running at top speed.</p>
<p>Secondly it will stop food cravings and the general pain of hunger. I know you know that drinking water is important. but are you actually doing it? You better be if you really want to lose weight.</p>

<p>Get classy. Join a Zoomba or Yoga class. This will add a new element to what you already do. You can be sure that this will add a lot of calorie burning even if it is only a couple of times a week.</p>

<p>A great analogy would be looking at a person who is shaped like a pear. You can all picture a pear in your mind right? Small at the head and then widening down to the bottom.</p>
<p>Many times people lose a bunch of weight only to find that they have become a smaller pear. The results are not what they were expecting.</p>
