If you have started working the Every Day Diet you should be doing certain things that are outlined in the book for maximum weight loss. These are listed below and are critical to losing weight with the Every Other Day Diet:

1. Following the eating plan religiously: You should be adhering to the eating plan exactly as outlined. If you are finding it hard then I have a few time tested tricks.

Carry a notebook around with you at all times. When you come across a major craving write it down in the notebook. You can then be sure to eat it on your feed day tomorrow. This will give you the power to beat back the craving and satisfy it at the same time.

Make two grocery lists. This is important so that you will have all the foods you need during burn days and all of the food for your family and feed days. By making two lists you will be sure to get the exact things you need for burn days and make your life easier.

2. Water and lot's of it!. Drinking water has become the foundation of most diets. This is not by accident because it really can help you in several ways.

First and foremost it will help your body burn fat and keep your metabolism running at top speed.

Secondly it will stop food cravings and the general pain of hunger. I know you know that drinking water is important. but are you actually doing it? You better be if you really want to lose weight.

3. Exercise. You need to be doing exercise regularly. If you have not increased your daily exercise from before you started the diet you are not going to get the benefits. Here are 2 ways to do it that helped me greatly:

Just add walking to what you already do. Yes it's that simple. Get out at the same time each day and walk for 20 minutes. Be sure you continue with whatever exercise you were doing originally though.

Get classy. Join a Zoomba or Yoga class. This will add a new element to what you already do. You can be sure that this will add a lot of calorie burning even if it is only a couple of times a week.

Get Off The Diet Roller Coaster-Get On The “E” Train

Have you tried to lose weight? Maybe you have made several attempts and failed on many diets? This is the cycle that thousands of people have been on and I was one of them. You are not alone.

Probably the most humiliating part of the process is getting all fired up about some diet plan and spending time and money just to fail miserably. It can be a very crushing blow and cause depression and self hatred. I was on this vicious cycle for many years.

So when I found the EODD Diet plan I was somewhat skeptical to say the least. The one thing that really gave me hope was that this diet seemed to be aimed at people like me. People who have struggled for years and never been able to get it right.

I bought the program and read it in one night.

Then guess what I did? I tried it half heatedly for a week and gave up. No I didn't give up because the diet didn't work. I gave up because I was not ready to change anything in my "comfort zone".

In the past that would have been the end to it. In about six months I would have bought some other diet plan and went through the same routine I have done countless times before.

But something that I read in the EODD Diet stuck with me. If I couldn't make a diet work that allowed me to eat the things I craved regularly, how was I supposed to make any diet work?

I went back to the book and re-read it. I set a date to start and told every one of my close friends and relatives about that "D" date. I got all of my ducks in a row and prepared to give it a real try.

"D" day ended up being the day that my lifelong weight loss started. I have been going strong ever since.

Every Other Day Diet Tips and Tricks

Getting the most out of the EODD Diet plan is easy if you use these tips. I will tell you about my techniques and how they can benefit you. My journey on The Every Other Day diet has been a great learning experience.

My first attempt with EODD didn't work out. I researched several diets and found the Check out The Every Other Day Diet Here online. I really liked all the information and read several positive testimonials. Once I decided that the diet might work, I went ahead and made the purchase.

My first mistake was that I read through the infromation and immediately started dieting the next day. I made no preparations mentally nor physically prior to start. This proved to be a bad idea. I was not prepared for the abrupt changes in eating and physical activity. I was planning my second marriage and the stress was not helping. I went off of the plan 7 days after starting.

I thought about finding another diet and getting a refund, but after talking to my soon to be hubby I realized that the problem was mine and not the diet.

I went back to the book and re-read it 2 times. This gave me a real understanding of the program and made me feel very positive about the EODD diet. I decided to set a date and prepare with foods and time to make it work. Below I will list sevral tips to help you be successful.

  1. Read the material several times. Make sure you really understand everything that is outlined. This will give you the knowledge you need to make proper preparations for losing weight.
  2. Set a date. Pick a day in the future to be your start date. Tell all of your support team (friends and family) that you are starting a new diet. This will make you stick to the start date and give you help from the people that matter most to you.
  3. Start increasing water consumption before the start date. Drinking a lot of water is crucial to losing weight on any diet and getting into the habit prior to starting will help you immensely.
  4. As with drinking water beginning to make time to increase your physical activity will help you be successful on your diet. You want to focuss on the Every Other Day Diet eating program fully on the start day. B y having your exercise plan in place prior to starting you will succeed.

These tips made all of the difference in the world with my success. Don't take them lightly. If you are smart and plan correctly you will increase your chances of losing weight.

I used this diet to lose weight quickly before my wedding to fit into my dream dress, and have been using it ever since. This program was developed by nutritionist Jon Benson for people who have been through the ringer on other diet plans that forced them to eat so restrictively that it became impossible to live a normal life and keep up with the diet.

Jon’s First Major Premise:

Forcing people to give up food that they love is a guaranteed way to make a diet fail. If the diet will not allow dieters to live a somewhat normal lifestyle it is bound to fail. By embracing a program that gives people an opportunity to eat the foods they love regularly, the success rate goes up exponentially.

Every Other Day Diet Second Major Premise:

Diets that starve you actually make it harder to lose weight! When your body senses it is being starved it goes into survival mode. Survival mode means that your body will try to preserve body fat by slowing your metabolism. Slowing your metabolism makes it virtually impossible to lose weight, and tht is why traditional diets fail.

Right at the beginning the book tells you that you will have to be prepare to follow 3 conditions to make this diet work:

1. You must make a decision to dedicate yourself to the GOAL of losing weight. Even more important to following the EODD, creating the mind set of how you want to look will empower you to make changes in your existing habits.

2. Doing some form of exercise is required. To make our metabolism burn fat we must do some exercise. The book gives very specific ways to accomplish this for any kind of physical condition you are in.

3. Your Expectations Must Be Reasonable Pretty straight forward here, you must not expect to lose weight faster than your genetic makeup will allow. That being said most people lose weight very quickly on this diet. You will have to convince yourself that this is a long term plan of action.

*I lost weight very quickly (4 Months 27 pounds)

My Conclusion:

The Every Other Day Diet (EODD) can be very powerful for those who have struggled with traditional dieting. If you are willing to stick with the system, you will enjoy the benefits listed above and lose weight. Since most people have already tried traditional dieting already, the EODD could be the answer to your weight loss goals.
